About Us

Central Ohio Joint Fire District (COJFD) was established in March 2000. Serving  Centerburg Village, Hilliar Township and Milford Township in Southwestern Knox County Ohio.  COJFD also service South Bloomfield Township and Sparta Village in Southeastern Morrow County. COJFD provides: fire prevention, fire suppression, ALS Paramedic Emergency Medical Services, CPR and First Aid class, fire extinguisher use classes to approximately 7700 residents over 71 square miles.

Typical daily staffing consists of 3 full time and 1 part time Firefighters 24/7, a part time Fire Prevention Officer and a full time Fire Chief.
